While out riding my bike, I stopped to photograph a car parked in a dedicated bike lane. The owner of the car came out of a nearby restaurant and headed slowly to the car.
Me: Is this your car?
Him: Yes, I parked there in front of the restaurant because my back makes it hard to walk any farther.
Me: I am sorry about your back.
Him: I am sorry for parking in the bike lane. I know it interrupted your momentum.
Me: Actually, the problem is that it forces me to ride in traffic...
Him: ...where you could be hit. Thanks for helping me understand.
Me: Thanks for listening. Have a good day.
Him: You too.
