Terragen - some creations of mine using a fractal-based landscape program.

Thanks, Bob! That one has the golden light and the very long view to the horizon. I love making new worlds.

I remember many years ago when you told me about Terragen and showed me some of the pictures you'd made with it. I thought 'oh that's really cool' and tried a few myself, but ended up with grey blotches, not QUITE as glorious as your worlds!

And another thing - I like the way these COULD be pictures of Earth, but could just as equally be images of some as-yet-unknown planet hurtling through the void. My personal proclivity is to TEND toward the LATTER option.

The latter is also my own preferred proclivity. I used to sometimes put in two moons or a moon that was comprised of "unnatural" colors or other schemata. But not as fun as ambiguity to be sure.

Wonderful gallery of your art! Seeing them together is pretty impressive!
