The Openings are Fashioned to Receive the Tuners

Various favorite hole-making tools in evidence.  My favorite is my Grandfather's punch tool.  The tapered reamer I use all the time.  Oh, the bridge for the guitar, all hand-fashioned from Indian Rosewood is there, too.
Lovely curly maple center lamination bordered by ebony pins.  I love the tuners, chrome with brass gear makes a nice contrast.
The book-matched Wenge head-plate.

I love the wood choices. And, I really admire your craftsmanship. What a great avocation!

TPM: Thank you for your kind words. I loved making this one. It all went pretty much according to plan. This one goes to its owner in a few weeks. Which will be happy and sad for me in equal measures. On to the next thing, eh?

So beautiful, as always. I can't wait to see what songs come from this instrument, and the most FUN thing will be to have this beautiful guitar made by my oldest best friend.
