Fretboard Day at Courtright Guitar Wurcs

The fretwire comes in a convenient coil which I snip into frets.
With a triangle file, I bevel the fret slots to ease entry of the fret

Banging home the frets- possibly the most fun thing to do in this whole process

The concrete floor is the perfect substrate since it don't bounce at all

Now the ends are cut off - eye protection is very, very important

Serious eye protection

Serious pose- thinking about how much my finger hurts after I caught it under my fret hammer

Admiring my handiwork whist I watch television - a favorite vampire movie

I love these! I'm also really happy that the bits of the guitar lounge around with you, drink your beer, etc. Which vampire movie is it anyway?

Not a classic, unfortunately: "Underworld" but fun nonetheless.

I know what you mean about me living with these bits and pieces around. When the guitar starts living with you, Bob, it will be easy to feel that I am part of the guitar, too. It's easy for me to see in the things I make a reflection of what I am about, how I am feeling, how well my mind is working and it's fun to muse about that, you know?

Serious pose: We must ALL give a little BLOOD for our ART now and then if it PLEASE the MUSE.
