Ahh yes the band we never had....or did we? You know I still have the cassette of...well I won't tell you the band name but we had a song called "Yellow Rose Petals on the Yangtze"?
Goodness, I don't recall ever doing a performance in the guise of (CTAJB)... And I do remember the title you mentioned, but not the song, if it could be called that. Was it in the key of E by chance? It was a goofy name but I am kind of fond of it anyway. Cheers!
I remember you mentioning the CTAJ Band back in the 70's but as far as I know it never materialised. On the other hand, the cassette I mentioned was recorded in the bandroom at Watseka High, with you on drums, me on bass, and Richard Bird on Rhodes and we are called "The Avant-Garde Jazz Trio Ensemble".
Oh my... I do remember that quite well. Although I think I played bass some of the time. I am wondering how I might receive a copy of that masterpiece of improvisation... Can you upload somewhere? I might have something for you in return!
