Purflings and Binding

Here is my homemade jig to hold my guitars and purling/binding in place while the glue dries - pretty self-explanatory.  What is not self-explanatory is the homemade holiday ale of which I am partaking whilst the glue dries.  This beer, in particular, is perfect for drinking while using a cabinet scraper to level the Indian rosewood bindings because it has a similar spicy aroma.  Who would have known?

Cars vs. Bicycles

Say what you will about cars vs. bicycles.  This is the handwriting of a young man who was hit by a car about two months ago while riding a bike.  His name is Justin.  He has a family.  He is still in the hospital with serious brain and other injuries.  He was doing nothing wrong, not breaking any laws, not riding dangerously.  He was just riding a bicycle to his home from work.
